    • hey murant, and along with anyone else that cannot install these packages on 1.14 …i found a solution i am running mac os mojave 1.14 but i had an error aswell. if you get the error “this package is incompatible with this version of macos and may fail to install.” then you need to get new headers. when you upgrade to 1.14 mojave, it doesnt come with new headers, xcode or command line tools. “Xcode is an integrated development environment for macOS containing a suite of software development tools developed by Apple for developing software for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS”. —AND— “The Command Line Tools Package is a small self-contained package available for download separately from Xcode and that allows you to do command line development in macOS. It consists of the macOS SDK and command-line tools such as Clang, which are installed in the /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools directory. you could give these a google search to understand what youre doing to your mac os.

      anyways the fix is. open mac terminal and type “sudo rm -rf /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools” this will remove current version of command line tools. then type ” xcode-select –install” this will install new version of xcode. THEN…
      $ sudo installer -pkg /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/Packages/macOS_SDK_headers_for_macOS_10.14.pkg -target /
      This will force install new header files. these are all mac osx programs you are installing through the terminal. do some basic research on them but do not damage your system always backup before you do anything. Cheers!
